Eagle Nest Golf Club started in 1971. The course is a Parkland Style and can play from 8168 yards for the long drive players to 3679 yards for a beginner. Greens are one of the most challenging greens to putt in the area. Remember, we have Bermuda greens, not bent grass which require reading the slope and grain. The grain on the greens tends to break to the west, so the speed will be a little faster and break more in that direction. Understanding the course layout requires some imagination to ability to work the ball off the tee. The course plays faster/more roll in the winter months due to the course being played on Bermuda grass year-round
