Alligator Adventure is aptly named. This is a totally unique attraction, especially for our northern tourists where alligators don’t abide. Alligator Adventure was established and operated with a display of albino alligators back in the 1990s. Today it is one of the largest reptile facilities in the world housing over 700 alligators ranging from hatchlings to adult bulls. In addition, this 15-acre habitat is home to iguanas, lizards, frogs, exotic birds, plants, and several species of amphibian life.
Let’s not forget the crocodiles! The difference between a croc and a gator: the crocs looks like they’re smiling and gators look like they’re frowning. No matter, either can snap your arm like a twig. However, there’s a crocodile at Alligator Adventure that’s over 20 feet long and weighs over 1700 pounds. There’s also a gator named Bob who has no tail. He’s strange looking, let me tell you. This is a must-see adventure!!
