Loved the course and everyone except the gentleman working the front desk. A week ago I had used "golf now" to purchase 18 holes to play at Eagle Nest. Of course I knew this was a discounted price, but I am in college so I need all the discounts I can get. I ended up getting rained on during the 7th hole and had to go get a 9 hole rain check. The gentleman at the front desk did not make me aware that the next week I would have to pay an extra 11 dollars. I wish he would have told me the previous week that I would have to because then I may have reacted differently then what I did. Lucky enough, a gentleman that worked there felt bad and let me play as a guest with him. I really appreciate that man and him letting me play, but the new gentleman working the desk does not belong in that business. He has very poor customer relation skills and was not up front with me about the price I would have to pay. Then he kept trying to explain to me how the rates worked, talking to me as if I was a 10 year old. I am a college student that has taken calculus and currently works at an accounting firm, I do not think I need help with the math. I just was very upset because I do not think I was treated fair. I got through 7 holes and do not even get a free 9? Wow. With that being said, I will not be back at that course as long as that man is working and I hope nobody else is either. I live in the area and have already let plenty of others know as well. Very disappointed.
